Indian Man Awakens on Funeral Pyre in Shocking Incident

By Joshua Omoniyi

In a bizarre and disturbing incident, a 25-year-old Indian man, Rohitash Kumar, was found to be alive on his funeral pyre, moments before it was to be set on fire. Kumar, who had speaking and hearing difficulties, had been declared dead by a doctor after being taken to a hospital in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, following an epileptic seizure.

According to medical officials, a doctor had prepared a postmortem report without actually conducting the procedure, and Kumar's body was sent to the mortuary and then to be cremated according to Hindu rites. However, just as the pyre was about to be lit, Kumar's body began to move, and he was found to be alive and breathing.

Kumar was rushed to the hospital for a second time but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries on Friday during treatment. The incident has sparked outrage, and authorities have suspended the services of three doctors involved in the case. A police investigation has also been launched.

This shocking incident raises serious concerns about the competence and negligence of medical professionals in India. It also highlights the need for stricter protocols and procedures to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future.
